Laminating pouch is a thin, transparent or translucent plastic material used to protect and enhance the appearance of documents, photographs, and other printed materials. It consists of two layers of plastic film (normally 100 micron thick). Laminating pouch is commonly used for various purposes, such as enhancing and preserving the durability of documents, providing a glossy finish, and protecting them from moisture, wear and tear, and other damages.

Laminating pouches are used for many reasons. For protection of important documents, for preservation of document, durability of use of the documents, protection from water, dirt, dust, bends, tears and even the spread of viruses and bacteria. Laminating pouches when sealed with heat, create a firm 360 degree barrier around the document giving it the most long-term protection.

The process of laminating is very easy. Peel back the front laminating sheet (normally, the top of the sheet is already sealed), slip in the document, position it properly and align correctly, put down the laminating sheet and we are ready to laminate by inserting it through the laminator. Insert the sealed end of the laminating pouch first into the laminator to get a good and bubble-less laminate.

Flexi laminating pouches are suitable for most brands of thermal laminators. Laminator have to be heated/warmed up to the right temperature (recommendation is about 120-125 degree Celsius) in order to get the perfect lamination. Flexi laminating pouches are ideal for use in teaching materials and aids, notices, certificates, work pass, signage, craft materials, home recipes, and the most frequently used/handled documents. In offices, homes, schools, or anywhere, these can be used by the commonest of people.
