#818 Circle Cutter - 360 degree cutting

This is a circle cutter, consisting of a central knob and an arm housing the cutter blade. The whole circle cutter is made mostly of plastic materials except for the metal cutter blade. The cutter blade sits on a small knob which can be adjusted by loosening the screw knob, then slide the knob to the required diameter dimension using the pointer to register on the scale rule. Then tighten the screw knob and the cutter is ready for use.

Normally, the cutter blade when not in use, it is protected by a sliding plastic casing. To use the cutter, the plastic protective housing need to be removed first. Then we anchor the central knob onto the centre of the medium (normally it is paper or thin foil). Adjust the circle diameter by adjusting the cutter knob using the built-in ruler accordingly. To cut, we swing the end of the arm where the cutter blade is located using the central knob as a fulcrum and rotate the arm 360 degrees clockwise to cut out the circle. After cutting, if not in use anymore, remember to put back the protective plastic casing for safety purpose.

The cutter also come with 2 spare blades. For circle cutting, this device can cut a circle with the smallest diameter of 10cm and up to a maximum of 32cm.
